There comes a moment in every person’s spiritual journey when life begins whispering in a way you can no longer explain
 and no longer ignore.

It’s subtle at first.

A feeling.

A nudge.

A quiet knowing in your chest that something is shifting.

And it often feels like Spirit is gently brushing your shoulder saying:

“Beloved one, pay attention. Something is awakening.”

People don’t find this path by accident.

They arrive because something ancient inside them has already begun to stir.

Here are the 7 most common signs you are being called to the shamanic path — even if your mind hasn’t fully caught up to your soul yet.

1. You feel emotions and energy more deeply than others.

You’ve been told your whole life that you’re “too sensitive,” “too emotional,” or that you “take things to heart.”

But sensitivity is not a flaw — it’s an awakening.

You’re beginning to pick up the subtle currents of energy
the things other people walk right past. That’s the first sign of a healer remembering who they are.

2. You’ve never quite fit into the world the way others seem to.

You’ve felt different since childhood — not broken, just different.

Surface-level conversations drain you.

You crave meaning, depth, truth, connection
even before you had language for it.

That quiet discomfort isn’t a curse.

It’s your spirit saying,“This is not your full story. There is more.”

3. Synchronicities keep repeating themselves.

When Spirit wants your attention, the messages will get louder.

You see the same numbers.

You pull the same oracle card over and over.

Dreams intensify.

Feathers show up in strange places.

Animals behave in ways that feel — unmistakably — like communication.

This is not coincidence.

This is an invitation.

4. You’ve gone through a major loss, shift, initiation, or unraveling.

Most people step onto the shamanic path after something in their life cracks open.

A relationship ends.

A career falls apart.

A grief you never expected lands in your lap.

Or your entire identity suddenly feels too small.

This is often the beginning of your initiation — the moment where your old life no longer fits, and the new one hasn't fully revealed itself yet.

Breakdowns become breakthroughs.

This is how the medicine begins.

5. Nature feels like home to you — almost as if you’re remembering something.

You don’t just like nature
 you feel connected to it.

The mountains speak.

The water calms.

The moon feels like a companion.

Trees feel like guardians.

This is the spirit world beginning to open around you.

6. You feel pulled to help people heal, even before you know how.

People confide in you easily.

Strangers tell you their stories.

Friends feel calmer after talking to you.

You can sense what’s beneath the words they say.

This is your natural medicine waking up.

You don’t need training for the calling to begin — the calling starts first. The path comes after.

7. You feel an unexplainable pull toward Peru, indigenous teachings, or the Andes.

This one is powerful.

Many people tell me:

“I don’t know why, but Peru keeps showing up for me.”

That’s how it begins.

The land calls you before you ever touch it.

The Q’ero call you long before you hear their name.

Your spirit recognizes a truth your mind hasn’t met yet.

When the Andes start calling you
it usually means the path has already opened.

🌟 If you recognize yourself in these signs
 your awakening has begun.

This path doesn’t ask you to be perfect.

It asks you to be willing.

Willing to heal.

Willing to grow.

Willing to remember who you are beneath the noise of the world.

People don’t stumble into shamanism — they return to it.

Your soul already knows the way.

Your spirit is already guiding you.

Your healing has already begun.

And if these words feel like they were written for you

they were.

Munay always,

Apu Mamma Aku
