Embark on an ancient journey. Answer the call to become a Mesa Carrier, a modern-day shaman in the lineage of the Q’ero Paqos of the Peruvian Andes and the teachings of the Four Winds Society. This two-year apprenticeship in personal transformation and luminous service is a path to unlock your innate wisdom and forge a life rich with meaning. It's a journey from wounded to whole, where you will transmute your own traumas and dramas into tools of courage and compassion for others.

The Path of the Mesa Carrier

This intensive, two-year program is a sacred space for profound growth, designed to awaken the deep well of your being. Held through two-day classes every three months, you will journey through the Chacana Medicine Wheel, exploring the cardinal directions of the South, West, North, and East, culminating with the Nusta Rites—the initiation into the divine feminine.

What You Will Discover

• The Mesa: You'll craft and carry your own sacred Mesa, a portable altar and medicine bundle. Your Mesa will contain khuyas, sacred stones that represent your wounds transmuted into wisdom, serving as the powerful tools of your future practice.

• Spirit Allies: Journey safely into non-ordinary reality to connect with your spirit allies and discover your power animals, who will guide and protect you on your path.

• Mastery of Energy: Learn to perceive and work with the hidden currents of energy that flow beneath the tangible world. This is the secret language of the shaman, allowing you to become a co-creator of a new reality where well-being flourishes.

- Two-day, full-day immersions every three months over two years

South I Supplies

• Red or black journal and pen

• Prepare to be outside for part of your training so have the appropriate clothes for the weather in your area.

• Water - you’ll need to hydrate throughout your training.

• Wear black

• A comfortable place to sit and place your computer

• 3 stones

• A bag of finger-size or smaller sticks. Make sure you have 40 or more.

After you register: Contact the Center for your Mesa orientation packet.

All Follow-up Mesa Classes

- Be ready to use everything from South I except the sticks

- Continue to utilize all shamanic tools you’ve accrued

- For S1, W1, N1, and E1, bring three new stones to each class

Nusta

- Details and supplies will be shared by Shannon in an upcoming class

Optional Items

- Flowers for your own personal altar (red and white if possible)

Munay Ki Pre-Requisites

• Prerequisite: Munay Ki, Bands of Power, class 1. A video can be found on our web site or you can enroll in a “live” online class as it becomes available.

• The full Munay Ki series must be completed prior to your Mesa graduation.

A transformative journey, the Munay-Ki is designed to plant the ten sacred rites within your luminous energy field. Our program is structured to give you a deep understanding of this powerful lineage and to provide you with the tools you need to succeed on your path. The 10 rites will be spread out over the duration of the classes with the final session culminating in a beautiful flower water and cacao ceremony in our garden. Each class includes a detailed lecture on the energetic seeds being planted within you, followed by a personal ceremony at the altar to receive your rite. You'll not only gain wisdom and power but also connect with a like-minded community, creating a foundation for a beautiful and healed relationship with yourself and the world.

As you embark on your two-year Mesa journey, you're not just taking classes—you're stepping into a series of empowering, supplemental experiences. These are carefully designed to deepen your connection and enrich your path, building on the foundation of the Munay Ki.

All classes will be available online via video or zoom, giving you the flexibility to grow at your own pace. We understand that life can be complex, and your commitment is important.
