Come together in sacred community as we honor Tayta Inti — Father Sun and the turning of the Equinox.
Within Q’ero and Andean traditions, Tayta Inti is revered as Father Sun, while a Karpay is understood as an initiation or sacred transmission between teacher, lineage, nature, and recipient. Despacho—also known as haywarikuy—is a ceremonial offering used to enter into reciprocity with the sacred world.
During this gathering, we will open sacred space and prepare ourselves to receive the Sol Karpi, an indigenous-inspired blessing and initiation honoring the living energy of the Sun. We will work with intention, prayer, and ceremony as we invite the energy of Father Sun to illuminate our path, strengthen our connection, and support the next stage of our spiritual journey.
