Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki can be done anytime and anywhere. The client remains fully clothed while the practitioner transfers Reiki energy to them through either a light hands on touch or through the biofield (Aura). Reiki will bring the body back to homeostasis (balance). Treatment can take place on a massage table, a chair or even standing. A private session is usually done on a massage table and can last 30 – 90 minutes. Many Reiki Circles use both chairs or massage tables and treatment there can last between 5 – 30 minutes depending on the circle.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."  

Reiki I is the first step of a four step path from Reiki 1, Reiki II, Advanced Reiki Training (ART) , then Reiki Master or teacher.

John started Reiki Training in early 2013 after practicing healing touch for many years. I completed my Reiki Master Teacher in late 2014. One never Masters Reiki we just learn how to teach it better. In 2020 John completed the highest to date Reiki certification as Karuna Master Teacher.

Pelai Goleta is a Mesa carrier from the Q’ero (Inca) Peruvian shamanic lineage of the Andes healing practices under the tutelage of Shannon Davis, Medicine Woman. Pelai is certified Usui Master Teacher. She holds a masters degree in management, nearly 20 years in management and mentorship, and for 10 years taught children’s fitness, art, meditation, health, and nutrition.  All of this has resulted in her being able to offer truly unique and healing treatments and classes.
