Any kind of music can be therapeutic, however the gong has the most powerful energy. The sound of the gong vibrates with the energetic lines of the body and balances them. Kundalini energy is released and it rises along the central energetic channel along the spine, which can be felt as a subtle tingling in the muscles or as a slight discomfort if there are blockages along the energetic lines. Japa Preet is a registered Kundalini Yoga instructor who has trained to teach both adults and children’s yoga. In 2017 she completed her Kundalini Yoga teacher training Level 1 and in 2018/2019 obtained her Children’s Yoga Foundations certification from Radiant Child Yoga. A believer in continuing education and personal development at every age, Carmen continues to learn and grow. She is an Ayurveda enthusiast and a food blogger/culinary teacher.
